Research Library
Everything we publish traces back to published research. This is an honest, plain-English map of where the evidence stands for each therapy — with links to the fully-referenced detail on every pillar.
How we rate the evidence
We label how mature the human research is — not how useful or safe something is — then let you read the detail and decide.
Substantial human research and broad agreement on the core effects, even if the finer details are still debated.
Promising human research, but smaller, shorter or fewer studies. Conclusions are still forming.
Mostly mechanistic, animal or small preliminary human data. Interesting, but treat as experimental.
Evidence by therapy
Sauna
Large observational studies link regular sauna use with cardiovascular and other benefits, and the heat-stress mechanisms are well described. Randomised-trial evidence is thinner — association is not proof of cause.
Read the evidence →Well-studiedSleep Optimisation
The circadian and behavioural foundations of sleep are among the best-established areas here — light, temperature, timing and consistency.
Read the evidence →Well-studiedNervous System Health
Stress physiology, heart-rate variability and slow breathing have a solid base for shifting the body toward rest-and-digest.
Read the evidence →Well-studiedExercise & Recovery
Training adaptation and recovery are extensively studied; the nuance is in specifics like when to apply cold.
Read the evidence →EmergingCold Water
Reasonable evidence for perceived recovery, alertness and short-term inflammation responses; longer-term and mood claims are earlier-stage and vary between people.
Read the evidence →EmergingRed Light
Plausible photobiomodulation mechanisms and growing human research on skin, recovery and pain; optimal dosing and consistency of results are still being worked out.
Read the evidence →EmergingPEMF
Some encouraging findings for pain and recovery, though results vary by device, dose and condition.
Read the evidence →EmergingHyperbaric Oxygen
Established for specific medical indications; wellness and longevity uses are earlier-stage and best treated as experimental.
Read the evidence →Well-studiedLongevity Science
The core levers — exercise, sleep, nutrition, connection — are well-established. Many longevity add-ons are early or unproven; we flag which is which.
Read the evidence →EarlyMolecular Hydrogen
An interesting selective-antioxidant mechanism with early, mostly small human studies — promising but experimental.
